THIS SMALL HOME ENCOURAGES GREEN LIVING

Small, Beautiful And Eco-Friendly

This 188 sq. ft. tiny house in Portugal is a testament to the notion that being small can be beautiful and eco-friendly at the same time. The home is unlike a typical tiny home. Its exteriors are made of wooden slats on top of light steel frames providing a gorgeous aesthetic that is functional as well as the slats provide shading as well as privacy to the house’s interiors.

Inside, the house makes use of birch plywood panels providing a rustic atmosphere. Two sleeping areas and a bathroom are available for four guests. This tiny house aims to be as sustainable as possible which is why various eco-friendly features are included in the house. This includes the use of solar panels, a compost toilet, and a rainwater harvesting system. Another thing that makes this tiny home unique is the oval window that also doubles as a skylight.

The kitchen here feels warm and functional, thanks to the simplicity of materials and lines. There is a large rectangular window above the counter, as well as ample shelving, cabinets, and metal racks to hang containers and cookware.
