THIS WILL CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK ABOUT CONTAINER HOUSES

It’s Not Always Like a Cage, You Know..

Container houses would always have the reputation of being too boxy or rigid to be called a home. However, these houses have recently re-emerged and redesigned itself and have since caught the attention of people.

These container houses need not necessarily be in a single rectangular shape. Custom-designed modules and pre-fabricated materials that came straight from the factory are also commonly used nowadays. This makes it ideal for these container houses to carry underfloor heating, designer kitchens, and even solar panels.

A company out in New Zealand called SmartWay Homes has been building innovative custom-designed container modules that adapts to the needs of their clients’ respective lifestyles. They have been shipping their custom homes all over the world.

Speaking of electricity and other expenses, container houses are cheaper and much more durable. They are also less vulnerable to natural causes such as earthquakes, making them more efficient in the long run.

Mager says his company is usually “about 40 per cent cheaper” than more traditional construction for the same size house. “In my opinion, people end up with better-quality homes (using this method) than those made from a few sticks of pine with chipboard next to it.”
