With Mortgages Becoming More Expensive Globally, This Couple Opted For A Tiny Home Lifestyle
People opting to live in a tiny home often use flexibility and minimalism as the reason for their choice. For this couple in Wales, it’s these and the motivation to be free from the burden of a mortgage. Spending only $36,376, the couple was able to build the tiny home of their dreams free from any obligations.
Despite having every bit of space maximized, the tiny home boasts of spacious interiors that even the second level has enough standing room. Although the couple had to let go of many things, the tiny house has ample storage space. This tiny home is also eco-friendly with its own plant-based water filtration system, solar panels, and wood burner for heating.
The couple say one perk of their 6.5m x 2.5m (21ft x 8ft) home near Cardiff is that their outgoings are tiny too. “It’s given us kind of a bit of breathing space financially,” added Tom.
