TINY HOUSE MAKES FOR AN OTHERWORLDLY ESCAPE

AS IF EXPLORING A NEW WORLD, SEE EARTH IN THE EYES OF AN INTERPLANETARY COLONIST
Do you ever dream of landing on a new lush planet as a spacefaring adventurer? Well, this home will let you live the dream. The Lunar Lander Home is set on the banks of the Columbia River in central Washington.
The location has a remote feel, making you feel like a true pioneer braving the final frontier! The home is 250 square feet with a breakfast nook, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The geodesic dome skylight showers the interior with natural light.
Look through the porthole window in the breakfast nook and see the world through the eyes of a space explorer!
If the space reminds you of the tiny well-intentioned living quarters of a boat, it’s no coincidence. The lunar lander’s owner and designer, Kurt Hughes, is a boat designer by trade.
He translated his three decades of boat building to home building — in fact, the wooden table in the dining nook is recycled from the Hughes’ first sailboat.
