A much-needed get away for you busy folk, this is what the riverfront cabin in Pere Marquette can offer. This home is a wooden cabin in Baldwin, Michigan, and it can sleep up to 4 people. The cabin has beautiful glass windows, allowing you to enjoy the fantastic view of the river and the sunrise… see for yourself in the photos below!
It has AC, central heating, cooking essentials, and a vintage stove. There is no TV or internet — which is just perfect especially if you’re wanting peace and solitude… No distractions, just nature and a secluded space.
The home also has a two-person tandem kayak, canoe, fishing poles, plus a fire pit for bonfires or BBQ. Guests can bring their own food but in case you want to stock up on more provisions, there is a small grocery store less than a mile away.
The Cabin is located on Pere Marquette river which is a designated “National Wild and Scenic” river and is world renowned for excellent fishing for rainbow trout, brown trout and Steelhead. The river section directly in front of the cabin is open for fishing only during the last weekend in April to end of September (trout season). It is also a very popular river for canoes and kayakers since it is steady and considerably clear which is perfect for paddlers with basic skills.
