Wintergreen is a a charming yet confident hillside living space which is one of our favorite projects from Prentiss Balance Wickline Architects. The spacious wooden lodge is a fun-packed home for an family hangout spot in a gorgeous natural and private setting. Built into a step hillside overlooking a stream with a view to the mountains in the distance, this cabin is anchored into the hill with a concrete base that contains the garage and other utility spaces. The upper floor houses all of the living spaces. The living/dining/kitchen is on the south side of the cabin with large window walls on 3 sides. Decks cantilever off of the concrete base on three sides and allow views into the stream below.
