WHIMSICAL INVERTED BOAT HOME… TAKE A PEEK INSIDE!

Come Visit This Unique Home Called “The Island”
Always wanted to go on a boat ride but you’re afraid of getting sea sick? Well, why not stay one that never leaves land?
“The Island” was built by a master boat maker in Gloucestershire, England. He used reclaimed teakwood from a 1920s dance hall and made it into a stunning inverted boat home! Because of the unique structure, the boat can only accommodate the sleeping and lounge area. There is, however, a separate little house with a modern shower and a kitchen. You can cook your meals in the open kitchen, dine al fresco, and enjoy the outdoor hot tub!
The Island sleeps up to 2 people and 2 behaved dogs. You can stay here for $125 per night.
Walk to Fairford or Lechlade, find a stunning Cotswold pub, or just stay put and get back to basics: meet the cows next door, spot kingfishers and otters on the river, or pour yourself a drink at the bar and sit on stools made from old tractor seats! Lovely walks stretch out through the local area or visit the Cotswold Water Park for a spot of bird watching. The eponymous nightingales will keep you company all year round.
