WHY THIS TWO-STORY CABIN IS YOUR TICKET TO MARS
EXPERIENCE THE TERA AND SEE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE A MARTIAN FOR A DAY OR TWO
If you’re someone who wishes to experience out of this world escapades (literally), pack your stuff because this is the moment you’re waiting for. No, you’re not traveling to outer space but to Hudson Valley, New York.
After the successful NASA-award-winning cylindrical pod, Marsha, AI SpaceFactory has outdone itself again and successfully launched the Tera. It is a two-story cabin that will allow the public to experience what it feels like to live on Mars. The layout of the Tera is made from a biopolymer basalt composite that’s crafted from recyclable corn and sugarcane waste — materials that are said to be possibly grown on the Red Planet.
There is an on-site telescope you can use for serene stargazing and starting at $175 a night, you can now have a glimpse into the future of sustainable life on and beyond our planet.
“Tera, on the other hand, took Marsha’s framework and made it a little more enjoyable for travelers on Earth, with more diamond-shaped windows to let in the Hudson River views. It also has the creature comforts you’d expect in a rental cabin, like a kitchen, bathroom, sleeping loft, and a 3D-printed patio (granted this one is also 3D-printed).”
